Two dead, three children injured after three-wheeler plunges into Mohini Falls

Two people have died after a three-wheeler travelling from Nallathanniya towards Maskeliya plunged into Mohini Falls.

The accident occurred when the three-wheeler veered off the road and fell into the waterfall, according to police.

Two adults and three children were travelling in the vehicle at the time of the incident.

The three children sustained serious injuries and have been admitted to hospital for treatment.

Police have launched investigations into the accident.
